If You Are In Need of Prayer

If you have a need and want to share the burden of carrying it to the Lord post a comment on what your need is.  Since comments are moderated I will not post your prayer request as a comment but will use the comment mechanism to enable me to know what your need is.

If you want me to acknowledge that I received it or want me to check in with you leave me your email address and I will get back to you as time permits.

The Lord has brought this to my heart:

Gal 6:2 Carry each other's burdens, and in this way you will fulfill the law of Christ.

I have been praying for others but the instruction I have received from the Lord is to reach out further.

grace and peace

    1. Thank you for writing, today. I will stay in the fight, will stand my faith. A few weeks ago I had a dream, I was looking north, toward Denver and it was night. From behind I heard a loud noise, I looked up and it was either a comet or missile. Not sure but I saw it hit, maybe Colorado Springs or Denver. I cried out to God "what should I do" and I heard, I really heard " Forgive him " him meaning my husband. I turned to my husband who was behind me and I did just that, I even asked him for forgiveness for my part. He said " I always will Mare " Then just before the mushroom cloud got to us ( in the dream I knew I was going to die ) we both went up, fast, we both looked up and I said to my husband " Now we can be with the kids " Very powerful. So yes, I will stay in the fight. Thanks for the internet encouragement. Sometimes it can be so lonely to soldier on. Keep the faith, I will pray for you and yours

  2. I have been reading your blog since january 2009. I very much enjoy it and find you to be very knowledgeable on current events. In all this time I have only heard you acknowledge the Son by His True Name once. It's been a while ago, but I think I recall that either you referred to Him as Yahushua, or perhaps you referred to the Father as Yah or YHWH. It's been a while so I don't recall exactly. But I ponder why it was only the once? My prayer is that you will look up Psalm 68:4 in the KJV (and please remember that the letter "J" has only been in existence for about 500 years). And also that you would look up Proverbs 30:4 (also KJV) and ask for His Set-apart Spirit to guide you into all Truth.

In case you are wondering, I am not of the "KJV Only" persuasion. I just find that this version more accurately express these verses.

Thank you for your blog. May Yah bless you and yours.

    A daughter of Yah.

  3. Greetings Sister,

Thank you for your kind words.

Here are the scriptures you referenced:

Psalm 68:4Sing ye to God — praise His name, Raise up a highway for Him who is riding in deserts, In Jah [is] His name, and exult before Him.

You are correct, even in the YLT it references the name "Jah."

The proverbs reference is not as clear:

Proverbs 30:4 Who hath ascended up into heaven, or descended? who hath gathered the wind in his fists? who hath bound the waters in a garment? who hath established all the ends of the earth? what is his name, and what is his son's name, if thou canst tell?

I have pondered the question you pose and have not come to a clear understanding of the Jah reference, is it the Father or the Son? They are one but they are also distinct entities. This leaves me somewhat unclear.

The second part of my answer would be that I try to be led by the Spirit, and typically He gets on me about things that He really wants my attention focused on. To date, through many decades He has never really impressed me with a need to nail this question down.
A third part of my answer would be the Lord goes by many names: The Father, The Son, The Holy Spirit, and heres a list from a quick websearch I did:

    https://bible.org/article/names-god
    El Shaddai:“God Almighty.”
El Elyon: “The Most High God.” Stresses God’s strength, sovereignty, and supremacy (Gen. 14:19; Ps. 9:2; Dan. 7:18, 22, 25).
El Olam: “The Everlasting God.” Emphasizes God’s unchangeableness and is connected with His inexhaustibleness (Gen. 16:13).
    (2) Yahweh (YHWH): Comes from a verb which means “to exist, be.” This, plus its usage, shows that this name stresses God as the independent and self-existent God of revelation and redemption (Gen. 4:3; Ex. 6:3 (cf. 3:14); 3:12).

Compounds of Yahweh: Strictly speaking, these compounds are designations or titles which reveal additional facts about God’s character.

Yahweh Jireh (Yireh): “The Lord will provide.” Stresses God’s provision for His people (Gen. 22:14).
Yahweh Nissi:“The Lord is my Banner.”
Yahweh Shalom:“The Lord is Peace.” Points to the Lord as the means of our peace and rest (Jud. 6:24).
Yahweh Sabbaoth:“The Lord of Hosts.” A military figure portraying the Lord as the commander of the armies of heaven (1 Sam. 1:3; 17:45).
Yahweh Maccaddeshcem: “The Lord your Sanctifier.” Portrays the Lord as our means of sanctification or as the one who sets believers apart for His purposes (Ex. 31:13).
Yahweh Ro’i: “The Lord my Shepherd.” Portrays the Lord as the Shepherd who cares for His people as a shepherd cares for the sheep of his pasture (Ps. 23:1).
Yahweh Tsidkenu: “The Lord our Righteousness.” Portrays the Lord as the means of our righteousness (Jer. 23:6).
Yahweh Shammah: “The Lord is there.” Portrays the Lord’s personal presence in the millennial kingdom (Ezek. 48:35).
Yahweh Elohim Israel: “The Lord, the God of Israel.” Identifies Yahweh as the God of Israel in contrast to the false gods of the nations (Jud. 5:3.; Isa. 17:6).
    (3) Adonai: Like Elohim, this too is a plural of majesty. The singular form means “master, owner.” Stresses man’s relationship to God as his master, authority, and provider (Gen. 18:2; 40:1; 1 Sam. 1:15; Ex. 21:1-6; Josh. 5:14).

    (4) Theos: Greek word translated “God.”

    (5) Kurios: Greek word translated “Lord.”

    (6) Despotes: Greek word translated “Master.” Carries the idea of ownership while kurios stressed supreme authority (Luke 2:29; Acts 4:24; Rev. 6:10; 2 Pet. 2:1; Jude 4).

    (7) Father:A distinctive New Testament revelation is that through faith in Christ, God becomes our personal Father. Father is used of God in the Old Testament only 15 times while it is used of God 245 times in the New Testament. As a name of God, it stresses God’s loving care, provision, discipline, and the way we are to address God in prayer (Matt. 7:11; Jam. 1:17; Heb. 12:5-11; John 15:16; 16:23; Eph. 2:18; 3:15; 1 Thess. 3:11).

So where does that leave us? It leaves my head spinning :)

I understand what you are saying, I will ask the Lord for his thoughts.

    grace and peace

  4. Brothers and sisters we can do this! If we have faith even as a mustard seed. We need to first, repent for our own sins, make sure we are right with God and then start reaching out to others by calling on them to turn from sin and repent from sins they have committed so that God can have mercy on us. It is better for one to cut off his arm if it makes him sin than to have both of them cast into the fire. Sometimes it's not easy to separate yourself from sin but God will know your pain and he will reward you in the next life. It is important that we bring him back into the picture because he is to be #1 in our lives as it is written in his word. As time passed, we distanced ourselves more and more from our creator, and we started to prefer our own reasoning on things rather than on God's instruction and hence the world is as it is today. It was us HUMANS, not God, who messed up, and now we have to realize that, and realize the Greatness of our Creator, and realize that he is more than capable of causing significant changes to all that he has created. Know that before we decided to sin, he had already written what sin was, therefore as much as it hurts us to admit it, we are the ones that were in the wrong, we are the ones that messed up. Bow down before him with a sincere heart, confess your sins to him, repent, and he will give you healing and comfort. Do you want to get to know God? Seek and ye shall find him. He is true to his word. That is why I know that if we repent, he will have mercy on us. I think one of our greatest mistakes is that we do not know God in all his Greatness well enough to know that the sins that we think of as petty are actually a huge abomination to him and if he is The Way, The Truth and the Creator of all that is, including the moon, and the sun, and the stars, and of the land and the sea and all that is within, then he gets to set the rules and you know rules have consequences. Will we be angry at our Creator when we have to suffer the consequences? That would not be the correct response he is looking for from us, what he is looking for is true repentance to bring you back to him, so that you may live in truth. God set the rules. He said we needed atonement for our sins. Jesus stepped up to the part so that now, when we ask for forgiveness and we mean it with all sincerity, we can be cleansed of our wrong doings and can live a new life in Christ. There is only one way into heaven, and it is not by killing others, because he has instructed us not to kill but to love, BUT love Him 1st. Ask him for the truth in prayer and he will answer you and he will show you the way. Praise be to our God Almighty. Amen. (please forward this to others that you care about, so that they can have a chance at knowing God also and if you know another language feel free to translate it). Today is the day for change, not tomorrow, for tomorrow is promised to no one.

  8. I am glad to see that someone else doesn't believe in once saved always saved. It's evident throughout the Bible that over and over we are encouraged to persevere. It also talks about the great falling away. You have to belong to something to fall away from it. Those who belong in the Church have the opportunity to walk away until the very end. That's why Paul talks about finishing the race. Don't jump the track--keep up your forward movement--even if you end up crawling over the finish line
    Thanks for telling the truth.
